The Accounting For Good Model

Our model

Save time and resources with Accounting For Good

Accounting For Good’s working model is designed to make your transition to our services straightforward and uncomplicated. Our Co-CEOs, Carol and Paula, take the time to understand your organisation’s activities, pain points, and goals.

From this discovery, we develop a detailed proposal and onboarding plan. You are assigned a dedicated AFG Account Manager who coordinates the setup process and serves as your main point of contact.

We work closely with your team and systems to gather data and establish efficient workflows. Our team will configure your accounting systems and ensure all reporting deadlines, payroll details, and authorisations are documented.

We provide comprehensive training on our platforms and processes, familiarising key personnel with our system.

Predictable and collaborative

Our cloud-based systems give you real-time access

We maintain a predictable, collaborative finance cycle with your organisation, implementing clear weekly, fortnightly and monthly processes. Each reporting period, by agreed deadlines, we deliver accurate, meaningful reports, profit-and-loss statements, balance sheets, dashboards and analysis to your management and board.

Our team stays in close contact, checking in regularly, answering questions or providing advice. We believe that ongoing communication and accountability are essential. We review results with you, help interpret variances, and adjust our approach as needed.

Our cloud-based systems give you real-time access to financial information. You can log in to see up-to-date transactions and reports, or request on-demand reports from us.

Scale to fit your needs

Making scaling efficient and cost-effective

As your organisation grows or changes, our services scale to fit your needs. We ramp up support for more complex operations or adapt the scope if your circumstances evolve. You’ll benefit from our sector-specific systems that have been fine-tuned for charity and NFP requirements, making scaling efficient and cost-effective.

Importantly, we take pride in being highly responsive. Our team is available when you need us, and we ensure the right mix of expertise is on hand to tackle any question or challenge effectively and efficiently.

The AFG team is responsive and highly skilled. Our staff have had further training and the support from AFG has ticked all the boxes for us.”
